Terms and Conditions
for Reno13 Series
1. Definitions
- "Device": The OPPO mobile device covered under this Accidental Damage Protection Plan.
- "Plan": Refers to the OPPO Accidental Damage Protection Plan, which includes Accidental Damage Protection.
2. Coverage
2.1 Accidental Damage Protection
- Scope: Covers two-time repair or replacement of damaged parts resulting from accidental drops, cracks, breakages, or liquid damage during the 24-month plan period.
- Repair Limit: The coverage is subject to a maximum repair fee, determined by the device's retail price at the time of first launch. Any repair costs exceeding this limit will be the customer's responsibility.
- Exclusions: Does not cover theft, loss, intentional damage, or damage resulting from unauthorised repairs.
3. Eligibility and Activation
- Purchase Window: The Plan must be purchased within 15 days of the device's purchase date.
- Activation: The Plan becomes effective from the time of the successful purchase.
- The device must be purchased locally through authorised retailers and operators, not overseas or through parallel import.
4. Claim Process
- Service Centers: Claims must be made at OPPO Authorised Service Centers
- Proof of Purchase: Customers must provide the original purchase receipt of both the device and the Plan.
- Data Backup: Customers are advised to back up all data before submitting the device for service, as OPPO is not responsible for data loss during repairs.
5. Limitations and Exclusions
The Plan does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear, aging, dust accumulation, or cosmetic damages such as scratches and paint peeling.
- Devices tampered with or repaired by unauthorised service providers.
- Malfunctions caused by viruses or unauthorised software.
- Damage rendering repair impossible, such as severe perforation or missing parts.
- Devices recalled by the manufacturer for design defects or quality issues.
- Loss of the device, including theft.
- Damage due to criminal activities by the customer.
- Damages or loss due to war, natural disasters, or other force majeure events.
6. Termination and Transfer
- Termination: The Plan will be terminated if:
- The coverage period expires.
- The device is repaired or tampered with by unauthorised parties.
- Fraudulent claims or misrepresentations are made.
- Transfer: The Plan is non-transferable to another device unless the original device is replaced due to quality issues by OPPO.
- Refund: Upon successful activation of the Plan, refunds will not be permitted.
7. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by and construed under the laws of New ZealandConsumer Guarantee Act 1993.
8. Acceptance
The customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions by purchasing the OPPO Accidental Damage Protection Plan.
